Home Free
Well I made it home late Monday night and haven't done much the last few days.I did try a seaduck hunt today, bad idea.Apparently when they say 30 mph winds they mean it!In the mouth of the Chesapeake bay is a bad place to be in a 16 ft boat.Sand from the beach is in everything and we didn't even get a shot.I did get my boat back,to bad the mechanic told me it's about to fall apart.Oh well I will try again Friday up on the Chickahominy. Then next week Swamp Thing and I have plans in the works for some serious duckin'.Stay tuned and maybe I will get an opportunity to take some pictures.

We may not shoot anything BUT pictures, ha ha. But we will have a good time and hopefully not destroy too much gear or our sanity.
Snow predicted next friday and saturday!
I think over the course of a few different hunts we should find some birds. If we don't then we don't.I just need to learn to relax when I'm out there and everything is going wrong. When I get the rage it just gets worse.
i hear it's black ducks at first light and then just buffleheads after that. Oh well....
Hope you guys get plenty of shooting in and I'm thinking it's about time for you to kick the tires on one of those boat & trailer combos at Bass Pro. We all have to do our part to stop the recession, might as well put it towards transportation...
Good luck, keep us posted...
DEDH

HAHAHA a new boat? That's craziness!I'm trying to save up so I can stop renting and living in the ghetto.Wish and a dream is what bass pro has.
Bass Pro boat sales guy: "Yes sir, what a serious duck hunter needs is this 24' Polar Kraft center console with twin Honda 150s and LORAN-C. We bought it from the manufacturer for $7,000 but our special sale price today is $39,200...that's the "cash price." "
